Gardens of Picardy

This 4 day trip has yet to be finalised but is to take in 5 gardens in this region of France just across the tunnel. We will be staying around Chatre which is famous for its magnificent cathedral.

Using the Channel Tunnel, to give more flexibility with the timing and to keep costs down, this four day trip is excellent value and brings the opportunity to see a great selection of gardens in the region. More details will follow in February/March please enquire.
Itinerary
Departing from outside Yeovil at 8.00am there will also be pick-up points at Fleet Service Station (M3) if appropriate as well as Folkestone. Before travelling on the tunnel we will stop for a quick lunch. We will arrive in France just before 3.00pm (French time) and will proceed to our hotel. We will be staying in our hotel for the next 3 nights. The hotel has a restaurant and I will organise the option of a Buffet Dinner, as it was so successful and much easier for everyone, last year.

On Monday we leave for Calais stopping en-route for some lunch before going onto the Tunnel. We arrive at Folkestone just before 5.00pm and should be back at Yeovil early evening (approximately 9.00pm).

· Luxury coach travel with refreshments on board and guide
· Breakfast is included in the price but all other meals are extra so euros will be required
· There is no baggage, health or cancellation insurance included in the price so we would
recommend you arrange this separately

· The entry charge to the gardens is not included but the cost is15 euros payable on arrival so if you do not wish to visit the gardens but see the sights and shops this is not payable.
