Charity Specialist Plant Fairs 2013 have been organised for over 16 years and provide an excellent opportunity for the public to buy direct from the growers throughout the South West. The plants for sale give quality, variety and excellent value to our customers. Most of the sales take place in large historical homes - many of which also have superb gardens. Garden Breaks are arranged by Franchesca Dening through the European Garden Breaks Club. Each year two or more reasonably priced short breaks to visit interesting gardens are organised. Sunday 17th March (10am-4pm)
Digby Hall, Sherborne, Dorset
Spring favourites as well as a massive choice of herbaceous perennials are on offer. Now in its 11th year there are over 12 stands exhibiting offering a wide range of plants, as well as gifts and cards and holiday breaks. Digby Hall is easy to find (just off the A30 turn into Newland) and this attractive and historical town has an excellent selection of small and individual shops as well as lots of coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. There is also a magnificent Abbey plus an Sherborne Old Castle and Sherborne Castle to see. There is parking next to the hall and refreshments will be available all day.

Breamore House, Nr Fordingbridge, Hants
Situated on the edge of the New Forest within 3 miles of Fordingbridge (off the A338 Salisbury to Bournemouth Road) and 12 miles from Salisbury, this sale includes over 14 specialist plant stands and is a 'must' for keen gardeners who are looking for late Spring and Summer colour. Apart from a wide range of plants there is garden gifts and equipment. The sale is held in the driveway leading to the magnificent house which is open to the public in the afternoon. There is also a Cafe and a Countryside Museum plus the house will be open for visits in the afternoon.

Mapperton has superb gardens (voted in the top 50 of the UK) which are included in the entry price of the sale. It also has a restaurant/cafe and gift shop. With over 35 specialist stands which includes gifts as well as a massive choice of plants, this popular sale gives a massive choice and is great for plant lovers in the area as well as those who want a 'Gardeners Day out' in fantastic surroundings.

There is parking next to the sale and refreshments will be provided by the charity throughout the sale. The castle will also be open.

This pretty Manor House has an Italian sunken garden alongside a herbaceous, shaded and kitchen garden over 2 acres. This sale is well established and is now in its 9th year. With over 31 specialist nurseries and plant related stands including gifts and plant supports positioned in the courtyard and side garden this is naturally a very popular sale. Coffee, teas and light refreshments are available.
Admission: £2.50 in aid of St Luke's Church
